From start to finish, 1st Choice Services will work with you every step to make your dreams of your project become a reality.

Step 1: Initial Appointment

You’ll meet with our team one-on-one to discuss your project, your expectations for your project timeline, your budget expectations and give you an overview of our process. We will also gather preliminary measurements and photos of your existing space to assist us in planning your project. Our team is skilled at developing creative ways to resolve your challenges.

Step 2: Feasibility Study and Proposal

We’ll begin with a feasibility study to provide an initial project estimate. If accepted then we will put together a detailed proposal. You will pay a small retainer to begin the proposal process, which will be deducted from the overall cost of the project. The proposal establishes a cost for each phase of the project including allowances as well as the scope of work. The proposal covers everything from the cost of materials and labor to permits and cleanup. We will answer any questions you may have and adjust the scope of the project until you’re ready to start the design process.

Step 3: Design and Planning

Once the concept is approved, you’ll work alongside our team to decide on which paint color to use, what flooring material you like best, fixtures, finishes, etc. We’ll also provide you with a timeline for the start of the project. This will depend on your availability, our current workload, permitting, subcontractors schedules and lead time of materials needed for your project. We make permit acquisition an easy transition for you by submitting and obtaining all permits needed for your project.
